NITROGEN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU THINK

NITROGEN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU THINK INTRODUCTION: In this article, we discuss nitrogen its important properties, and some incidents that happened in the past with people and instruments that deal with nitrogen. So, let's start: LIQUID NITROGEN INCIDENT THAT KILLED THREE TECHNICIAN OF NASA: The First space shuttle mission was named STS-1, the first orbital mission of NASA. This mission is uniquely described in this article due to the incident in which three technicians died due to inhalation of excess nitrogen of nitrogen. IMPORTANCE OF NITROGEN: Nitrogen is a crucial element in the periodic table due to many important properties. Nitrogen is a non-toxic & colorless gas that occupies 78% of the atmosphere. HISTORY OF NITROGEN: In the past, scientists had different opinions about this gas. For example, some scientists think it was brunt air because no combination occur in the presence of this element. Some believe it is very toxic and has no life because the environment fil

    Carbon: An Element of Life

Carbon is an element of life. We, humans, use carbon so much that we can't think of living without carbon and its compounds.

Carbon is an element formed in stars during a process called "Nucleosynthesis". This is the process by which smaller nuclei fuse together to form larger nuclei.

Carbon is an element of extreme importance in today's world not just in the fuel sector but also in the pharmaceutical industry as well in factories and large industries.

Carbon is an element of the periodic table that has an atomic number of 6 and a mass number is 12.011u it has 6 electrons of which 4 are its valence electrons. It has a valency of 4. That is why it forms large compounds that are necessary for life and this property of carbon is known as "catenation".

    Allotropy of carbon:

Carbon is a very important compound that has several allotropy but in this article, we discuss only its two most important allotropy. For example, Graphite and Diamond.

Graphite is an allotropy of carbon which is used in pencils. It has unique properties such as anisotropy due to which graphite conducts electricity in one direction more than another.

Diamond is the allotropy of carbon which is very hard and crystalline. It is mostly used in jewelry and also used in batteries called "NanoDiamond batteries".

    Isotopes of Carbon:

Carbon has 15 known isotopes but C-12 and C-13 are the most stable isotopes of carbon. Carbon isotope ranges from C-8 to C-22 but out of stable isotopes others are very unstable with a much smaller half-life.

Carbon-14 isotopes are used in a process called Carbon-dating which is used to measure the age of ancient wood or animal fossils.

    Properties of carbon:

Carbon is an element which shows properties as follows:

    Atomic number: 6

    Mass number: 12.011u

    Melting point: 3550-degree Celuis

    Boiling point: 4827-degree Celuis

    Density of  Diamond: 3.52g/cm3

    Density of graphite: 1.25g/cm3

    Density of Amorphous: 1.9g/cm3

    Oxidation states: +2, +3, +4

    What is the Carbon cycle?

The carbon cycle is the cycle driven by nature by which carbon is recycled in nature. Carbon is essential for life. Plants obtain carbon in the form of carbon dioxide which by the process of photosynthesis convert into glucose and oxygen. Humans and animals obtain carbon from the products of plants and release carbon dioxide which in turn is used by plants and this cycle goes on.

Amazingly, humans survive through the cycle of nature that we disturb mostly in the form of deforestation and other such facts. We must play our role in society and in nature.

Now come back to our topics again.

Similarly, the ocean surface also exchanges gases with the atmosphere and therefore plays an important role in the carbon cycle. Dead plants and animals also play a role in this cycle because carbon present in dead organisms is converted into carbon dioxide by many processes of microorganisms. So, by these processes, carbon again transfers in life.

    Compounds of Carbon:

Carbon compounds play a very important role in our lives in the lives of all living organisms and also in our technological growth.

Carbon has so huge number of compounds that are very separately studied in detail in the branch of chemistry known as " Organic Chemistry". Organic chemistry is very important in today's technological growth for example organic compounds in the form of fuel, organic compounds in pharmaceuticals, and in the form of macromolecules like plastics, PVC pipes, and other compounds are very useful in today's technological growth.

Organic chemistry is everywhere from pharmaceuticals to cosmetics and in other essential compounds as well.

Maybe I write a detailed article about this shortly.

    Inorganic compounds of carbon:

Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide are not treated as organic compounds because organic compounds are defined in the basics of carbon-hydrogen bonds but CO2 and CO can't have carbon-hydrogen bonds.

That is Why they are considered inorganic compounds and far beyond the scope of organic chemistry.

    What is CO2?

Carbon dioxide is a compound of carbon that contains carbon and oxygen in their compound in a ratio of 1:2. This is very important as carbon dioxide plays an important role in the field of biology and helps to support life.

Carbon dioxide has some properties as follows:

    1. Carbon dioxide is a colorless, odorless gas at room temperature and pressure.

    2. It has a higher density than air.

    3. Its solid form known as "Dry ice" is sublimated in air from solid to gas form process known as "Sublimation".

    4. It is a very inert gas in normal conditions and reacts with a few elements and compounds.

    5. It is used in fire extinguisher agents due to the property of replacing oxygen.

    6. Carbon dioxide is soluble in water and increases the acidity of water.

How to treat low carbon dioxide levels in the blood?

Carbon dioxide plays an important role in our body processes such as it is very important to maintain our PH and also in the supply of oxygen. Let's learn in detail:

    1. Carbon dioxide level in bodies is very important for maintaining our body's normal PH of about 7.35-7.45. To maintain this PH in our body carbon dioxide which is released by cell play an important role. Let's how?

Carbon dioxide when dissolved in water forms carbonic acid which further decomposes into bicarbonate and hydrogen ions which maintain bodies PH. In this case, carbon acts like a Buffer.

    2. Oxygen combines with hemoglobin which is a transport protein and carries oxygen to places where it is needed. Hemoglobin is detached from oxygen in a huge concentration of carbon dioxide.

So, the question remain how to treat low level of carbon dioxide?

The answer is by exercising and yoga and by breathing properly.

    What is CO?

Carbon monoxide is a compound of carbon-containing carbon and oxygen in a ratio of about 1:1 and is a very poisonous gas that causes of death of being.

Carbon monoxide is very toxic because it binds strongly to hemoglobin and that reduces the oxygen carry capacity of red cells. Its high concentration causes headaches, unconsciousness, and even death of a person.

In the cases of its high concentration, a carbon monoxide detector is used which detects the level of carbon monoxide in the air.

    Conclusion:

Carbon is a very important element in nature and in the field of biology its role is very important for fuel in our cars perfumes and clothes we wear and in industries, its role can't be forgotten.

That is about this strange and wonderful element. Are you like this? Share your feelings with us by comments. Thank you!

Quantum entanglement: Strange process of physics

QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT: STRANGE PROCESS OF PHYSICS  Science is boring. If you say yes. Then absolutely you do not know about the magical world of science known as the "Quantum world". Well, imaginative things happen there no one predicts this world. The word "Magic" is the real world to completely describe this world. For example, if someone says that nobody passes through the wall, then quantum tunneling comes, which is the process that makes quantum particles capable of passing through any obstacles between their paths. But in today's article, we talk about quantum entanglement which is a very strange phenomenon of quantum mechanics. In this article, we also talk about Einstein's EPR paradox which challenges quantum physics, and how quantum physics defends itself. Let start: So, generally, what is quantum physics? Quantum physics is the physics of small-scale particles within atoms and studying their behavior. These particles are also called "Quantum pa

Aluminium: An Element that changes the world Completely

Aluminum: An Element That Changes the World Completely Aluminium uses in aerospce industry Aluminum is a very lightweight metal. Alloy is very precise before 18 century it was more expensive than gold and silver. Its high price is due to its extraction cost from clay. In clay, it forms a very strong bond with oxygen that why it requires very high energy. Aluminum word derived from the Latin word "Alumen" which means "Bitter salt". Aluminium was discovered by Danish physicist " Hans Christian Orsted" in 1825. It has a silvery-white appearance. What is Aluminium? Aluminum is a very lightweight metal in the periodic table. It is the 13th element in the periodic table and also a very useful element. Where Aluminium mined?  Aluminum minerals include "Boehmite, Diaspore, Gibbsite, Cupalite, and steinhardtite, etc.," There are over 270 different types of aluminum minerals from which aluminum is extracted. Australia and China have huge resources for al
