NITROGEN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU THINK

NITROGEN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU THINK INTRODUCTION: In this article, we discuss nitrogen its important properties, and some incidents that happened in the past with people and instruments that deal with nitrogen. So, let's start: LIQUID NITROGEN INCIDENT THAT KILLED THREE TECHNICIAN OF NASA: The First space shuttle mission was named STS-1, the first orbital mission of NASA. This mission is uniquely described in this article due to the incident in which three technicians died due to inhalation of excess nitrogen of nitrogen. IMPORTANCE OF NITROGEN: Nitrogen is a crucial element in the periodic table due to many important properties. Nitrogen is a non-toxic & colorless gas that occupies 78% of the atmosphere. HISTORY OF NITROGEN: In the past, scientists had different opinions about this gas. For example, some scientists think it was brunt air because no combination occur in the presence of this element. Some believe it is very toxic and has no life because the environment fil

The Extraordinary Chemistry of Group 1 Element

The Extraordinary Chemistry of Group 1 Element:

Chemistry is very useful in our daily lives because everything around us is a build-up of atoms and

these atoms compose themselves to build things that are very useful in technology which is why

understanding chemistry is very important in everything from science to technology.

    Group 1elements:

Group 1  elements are elements that are very important in many industries and also in our daily lives.

The chemistry of these elements is also unique.

    So, let's start:

Group 1 elements include lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium. They all metals

     and have the following properties:

    1. These all are metals.

    2. They are soft and reactive.

    3. They are excellent conductor of heat and electricity.

    4. They react vigorously with water and have low melting and boiling points.

    5. They have low density.

    6. They are included in s-block elements.

    Group 1 Physical Properties:

In physical properties of Group 1 elements include:

    1. Its softness:

The elements of group 1 are very soft. They are cut knife very easily. They are softer than other metals

     in the periodic table.

The softness of group elements generally increases as go down in a group. So, that is why potassium is

much softer than lithium and so on as very goes down.

    2. Low density:

The elements of group 1 have very low density. For example, lithium, sodium, and potassium are less

     dense than water.

The density of group 1 elements increases as very go down in a group. The reason is that down

increases the atomic number and that is why density increases.

Lithium is the most lightweight and less dense as compared to metals in the periodic table.

    3. Shiny Appearances:

When freshly cut appears shiny but then after some time darkens because of the oxidation process.

    4. Low melting and boiling point:

These elements have generally low melting and boiling points. The element cesium has a melting point

     of 28.5 degrees Celcius.

The melting and boiling point generally decreases as we go downward. This is because of the fact that

with an increase in atomic number metallic bonds between metals decrease why the melting and

boiling points generally decrease as we go down.

    5. Good conductor:

They are good conductor of heat and electricity. Because of the presence of free electrons.

The conductivity increases as we go down in a group. Because of the increase of electrons and the

     increase in shielding effect.

    Lithium:

The most important use of lithium is in battery technology because of its small size and use as hydrogen

     storage.

Lithium has huge potential in our daily lives as lithium-ion batteries have many limitations but these are

the best to store electricity and in the future, we see a better version of this battery that transform

     humanity forever.

    Sodium:

Sodium is a very important element not for the fact because table salt NaCl contains sodium but also

because of its use in caustic soda. Caustic soda is useful for washing purposes.

In countries like Canada after snow storms road cleaner trucks throw salt on the road when prevent it

     from de-icing agents.

Sodium compounds are also used in the purification of water.

    Potassium:

Potassium salts like potassium chloride and potassium citrate are used as a food flavoring. Potassium is

also used in agriculture to form fertilizers and in fire extinguishing in the form of potassium

     bicarbonate.

You all know about carbon dating but Is you know about radiometric well it is a process by which the

age of rock and stone are identified in this process potassium is used.

    Rubidium:

Rubidium is used in atomic clocks which is useful for accurate measuring of time. Rubidium is used in

gas sensory and also used in solar cells.

    Conclusion:

Every element has its unique properties but the beauty of the periodic table is that it assembles all those

elements in such a configuration that their properties are periodic and predicted. Group 1 has similar

properties but their application is innumerable and that is why they are useful in our daily lives.

Group 1 elements are very important chemicals for life, technology,, and humanity.

Quantum entanglement: Strange process of physics

QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT: STRANGE PROCESS OF PHYSICS  Science is boring. If you say yes. Then absolutely you do not know about the magical world of science known as the "Quantum world". Well, imaginative things happen there no one predicts this world. The word "Magic" is the real world to completely describe this world. For example, if someone says that nobody passes through the wall, then quantum tunneling comes, which is the process that makes quantum particles capable of passing through any obstacles between their paths. But in today's article, we talk about quantum entanglement which is a very strange phenomenon of quantum mechanics. In this article, we also talk about Einstein's EPR paradox which challenges quantum physics, and how quantum physics defends itself. Let start: So, generally, what is quantum physics? Quantum physics is the physics of small-scale particles within atoms and studying their behavior. These particles are also called "Quantum pa

Aluminium: An Element that changes the world Completely

Aluminum: An Element That Changes the World Completely Aluminium uses in aerospce industry Aluminum is a very lightweight metal. Alloy is very precise before 18 century it was more expensive than gold and silver. Its high price is due to its extraction cost from clay. In clay, it forms a very strong bond with oxygen that why it requires very high energy. Aluminum word derived from the Latin word "Alumen" which means "Bitter salt". Aluminium was discovered by Danish physicist " Hans Christian Orsted" in 1825. It has a silvery-white appearance. What is Aluminium? Aluminum is a very lightweight metal in the periodic table. It is the 13th element in the periodic table and also a very useful element. Where Aluminium mined?  Aluminum minerals include "Boehmite, Diaspore, Gibbsite, Cupalite, and steinhardtite, etc.," There are over 270 different types of aluminum minerals from which aluminum is extracted. Australia and China have huge resources for al
